Mark Cody is the owner and lead instructor of Tri-State Hockey Academy.  Mark grew up in Halifax, Nova Scotia playing where he played AAA hockey. He then went on to play 3 seasons in the Maritime Junior "A" Hockey League, winning a National Championship with his hometown Halifax Oland Exports. He played his college hockey for St. Thomas University in the CIS, before embarking on a 7 year professional career that saw him play in the CHL, ECHL and IHL. Not only does he bring his playing career as experience, but also his ongoing player development and coaching careers. Having served as an EYHA Hockey Director, Head Coach/GM of the Evansville Jr. Thunderbolts, Scout for the Shreveport Mudbugs of the NAHL, and Head Coach of multiple Thunder Travel teams, Mark has a natural ability for developing young athletes and getting them to the next level.

Mark is currently a level 4 USA Hockey Coach, has a Hockey Director Certification from USA Hockey and is a certified USA Hockey CEP instructor.
